Sony Pictures Announced Plan To Develop Video Game Titles Into Movies & TV Shows

Big things are in the works at Sony, the studio's head recently announced plans to make movies and TV shows with multiple Playstation franchises. It will be exciting to see a slate of video games transitioning to big screen in a more realistic way. HBO has The Last Of Us planned for a series, and Netflix has Assassin's Creed planned for a live-action television series too. 

Which games does Sony have in the works? According to CEO, Tony Vinciquerra, Sony Pictures has plans to run seven gaming franchises into television shows. The plan is to utilize the One Sony platform for title integrations from gaming to movies and television. Although at this time, Sony has not confirmed which titles will be released or on which dates, the story will be followed closely in the upcoming weeks. For now, it seems all titles are up for consideration.
